Reflect

A quiet place to pause, listen, and live the resurrection.

Not as abstract ideas. Not as religious words to define and move past. But as a way of slowing down long enough to ask what is being revealed, how it can be lived, and what deeper meaning God may be forming beneath the surface.

Knowledge opens our attention. Wisdom moves us into practice. Understanding grows as truth becomes life.

“As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.”

— Daniel 1:17, KJV

Knowledge helps us notice. Wisdom helps us live. Understanding helps us become.

01

Knowledge

What am I being shown?

Knowledge begins with attention.

It is the willingness to notice what is actually in front of us: the pattern, the question, the ache, the repeated lesson, the moment we keep rushing past. Knowledge gathers what life is revealing before we try to explain it or fix it.

But knowledge is not the same as transformation. We can know the right words and still live afraid. We can know the story and still miss what it is trying to awaken in us. We can collect truth without allowing truth to re-center the way we live.

So knowledge asks us to slow down and look honestly.

  • What is happening here?
  • What am I seeing?
  • What keeps returning?
  • What is this season trying to show me?
Pause with this:

What is one thing life has been showing me that I have been too busy, afraid, or distracted to fully notice?

Carry this with you:

Write down one repeated thought, question, or pattern from this season. Do not rush to solve it. Let yourself simply notice.

02

Wisdom

What do I do with what I know?

Wisdom is where truth becomes practice.

It is not just having information. It is not simply being able to explain what we believe. Wisdom asks whether what we know is becoming visible in how we live.

In Beyond the Stone, resurrection keeps moving beyond explanation into participation. It does not remain at the stone. It moves into fear and transforms it into courage, into guilt and turns it into forgiveness, into fractured identity and names a person whole again.

Resurrection asks a harder question than, “Do you believe this happened?” It asks, “What will you do now that death no longer has the final word?”

That is wisdom.

  • Wisdom is the faithful step.
  • The softened response.
  • The courage to forgive.
  • The choice to trust when control feels safer.
  • The willingness to live what has already been revealed.
Pause with this:

What truth do I already know that I am being invited to practice?

Carry this with you:

Before one decision this week, pause and ask: What would resurrection look like here? What would love do with what I know?

03

Understanding

What is becoming clear beneath the surface?

Understanding is the deeper seeing that forms over time.

It often does not come first. Sometimes we only understand after we have noticed. After we have practiced. After we have walked a little farther than we felt ready to walk.

Understanding is where scattered pieces begin to find meaning. It is where knowledge becomes more than information and wisdom becomes more than effort. It is the quiet grace of beginning to see what God was forming all along.

Understanding does not always give easy answers. Sometimes it gives better questions. Sometimes it reveals where fear has shaped our interpretation. Sometimes it helps us see ourselves, others, Scripture, and suffering with more patience and mercy.

It is not just “I know what happened.”

It is “I am beginning to see what this means.”

Pause with this:

Where am I being invited to see more deeply, not just react more quickly?

Carry this with you:

When something stirs a strong reaction in you, pause and ask: What is beneath this? What is being formed in me here?

the families who guide them.

Fireside Stories is a growing home for illustrated children’s books, gentle adventures, read-aloud stories, and future animated adaptations rooted in wonder, faith, imagination, and the light of Christ. These stories are made for children, but they are also made for the families, parents, grandparents, and guides who understand that the future is not only something we build — it is something we plant.

Our children are the seeds we leave behind. They carry more than potential; they carry purpose. They carry imagination, tenderness, courage, questions, gifts, and a God-given identity that deserves to be protected, nurtured, and called forward. The purpose of Fireside Stories is to help awaken the true I am within them — the identity given by God, not the one shaped by fear, comparison, pressure, or the noise of the world.

These books are created to speak gently but deeply into young hearts. To remind children that they are loved before they achieve, seen before they perform, and invited to become without ever needing to lose the wonder of who they already are. Through story, adventure, beauty, and faith, Fireside Stories hopes to help children grow in truth, imagination, kindness, courage, and joy.

Enter new worlds of wonder. Embark on faith-building adventures. And gather close to stories made to plant light for generations to come.

Mission

Honest words. Hopeful stories. Becoming light.

St. Mikolas writing quill

St. Mikolas exists to provide content that carries light — content that encourages, awakens, and helps people see themselves as loved, alive, and still becoming.

About St. Mikolas

St. Mikolas is a creative house rooted in faith, imagination, story, and the light of Christ.

We provide faith-rooted content created to awaken hope, stir wonder, and help people remember they are loved, alive, and still becoming.

This work exists because beauty still matters. Story still matters. Wonder still matters. And every person carries something sacred within them — something waiting to be seen, awakened, and called forward.

Still Becoming

St. Mikolas is not here simply to make content. It is here to offer light. To create stories, reflections, and visual experiences that invite people into hope, healing, imagination, and a deeper way of seeing themselves and the world.

For the seekers. For the wounded. For the dreamers. For the faithful. For the questioning. For the ones still learning how to become.

You are loved.

You are alive.

And you are still becoming.

Apparel

Apparel 4 Purpose

This is not merch. These are messages made visible.

Each design was created to carry spirit, life, freedom, love, peace, and truth. You do not have to buy a shirt for the message to matter. If the image alone touches your heart, then it has already served its purpose.

But if you feel led to wear it, gift it, or let it speak to someone else, then the shirt becomes more than clothing. It becomes a vessel.

Message first. Apparel second. Purpose always.
